At the end of the 90's the Cooper Temple Clause was founded in Reading, England by singer Ben Gautrey, guitarists/bassists Dan Fisher and Tom Bellamy, drummer Jon Harper, keyboardist Kieran Mahon, and bassist Didz. They released their debut EP called Hardware/Warfare on RCA Records in 2001. The full-length entitled See This Through and Leave followed in 2002.
