John Ellis (vocals and guitar), Daryl Swart (drums), and drummer Scoop (bass) founded the African alternative band Tree63 in Durban in the middle 90's. The band's second full-length entitled 63 was issued in the United Kingdom in 1999. The single "A Million Lights" had a great success both in England and South Africa.
