Tom Verlaine (real name: Thomas Miller) was born in Wilmington, DE in 1949. In the late 60's Verlaine, Richard Meyers (aka Richard Hell, bass), and Richard Lloyd (guitar) founded the group named Television. They released their first single entitled "Little Johhny Jewel" in 1975. The full-length Marquee Moon followed in 1977, and the Adventure LP appeared the next year.
