Former Maybe Drowning Soon member Pete Bogolub (guitarist) founded the Sems group in the beginning of the 2000's. He recruited Keach Hagey (vocals and guitar), Mike Pecchio (vocals), and Noel Rose (vocals and drums), and the Sems group recorded its debut full-length called Progressive Bedroom Discoveries, which was released by the Audraglint label.
