Brothers Bobby Franano (keyboards) and Michael Franano (vocals) founded the Front at the end of the 80's. They recruited Randy Jordan (bass), Mike Greene (guitar), and Shane Miller (drums). in 1989 the band issued its eponymous first album on CBS Records. The record was followed by the "Fire" hit single the next year. In 1993 the band changed its title on Bakers Pink.
