Before creating a new group vocalist Zachary Stevens spent much of the 1990's singing for Floridian heavy metal institution Savatage. After that, in 2000, he attended to some family business. His personal issues resolved a year later, Stevens began collaborating with his ex-members of Savatage Jon Oliva and Chris Caffery, coming up with a set of songs that would eventually sow the seeds for a new band called Circle II Circle.
