UB40 knew what it would take to succeed in America. A covers album, Labour of Love, released in 1983, which included a cover of a Neil Diamond song, Red Red Wine, reached the #8 spot on the Billboard Top 200. Another cover song, later in 1992, this time of Elvis Presley's (I Can't Help) Falling In Love With You, was their greatest hit in the US, reaching #1 on the singles chart.
