English Post-punk band The Fall formed in Manchester in 1976 and remains active, both in studio recordings and in live concerts to this day. As such, The Fall is the most prolific and the longest running band of the movement that emerged in the 70s. Even if they have seen many lineup changes, The Fall ahs kept their status as a prominent and dominant band on the scene.
