About Sting
English musician Sting started his music career and quickly gained prominence as a musician with The Police, a rock trio that formed in the late 70s on which he was the main songwriter, the lead singer and bass player. Following the band's breakup in 1984, Sting quickly started work on his solo career, with his albums The Dream of the Blue Turtles and ...Nothing Like the Sun both selling millions of copies and establishing him as a leading voice for the decades to follow.
