About Smashing Pumpkins
The Smashing Pumpkins was started in the late 80's in Chicago by such musicians as vocalist Billy Corgan, guitarist James Iha, bassist D'Arcy Wretzky, and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. They recorded their first single entitled "I Am One" on the Limited Potential label. The record became very popular and was followed by "Tristessa."
