About Sheryl Crow
When Sheryl Crow left Michael Jackson's tour and went on to perform on her own, she found out that many recording labels wished to make her into a teen pop singer, not something that she wished to do. She suffered from a long bout of depression, but came back to herself and returned to being a session vocalist. In addition to singing with the likes of Sting, Rod Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Foreigner, Joe Cocker, Sinead O'Connor, she also improved her song writing skills during the period, enough to have Wynonna Judd, Celine Dion, and Eric Clapton perform songs of hers.
