About Red Flag
Coming from the US, where synthpop was never a successful style of music, Red flag are considered one of the more successful bands of this type. Red Flag did not stick to the simple dance tunes that characterize the genre in Europe, but rather went in increasingly darker directions, with Fear of a Red Planet and The Bitter End even upsetting the synthpop movement in the S for the choice of direction.
