Coldplay have proved that to be a good enough imitator of Radiohead will get you far in life. With their music sounding just like the early Radiohead style (the Bends album, namely), Coldplay and others have sold millions of their own albums. When asked about this, implying that Radiohead could have comfortably capitalized on their sound of the 90s, frontman Thom Yorke challenged the bands to experiment like they have with a Kid A-style album.
