About My Bloody Valentine
Formed in 1984 in Dublin, My Bloody Valentine settled in London about a year later and by 1988 would release Isn't Anything, their first LP after three EP releases. The album featured the classic sound that My Bloody Valentine is famous for, strongly influenced by pop and noise, merging both in one. The guitar anthem (When You Wake) You're Still In A Dream and the dream-pop melody Several Girls Galore are two examples of the druggy, atmospheric, arty style that is the band's signature.
