American songwriter, musician and singer Moby has been in the music world since 1991, at first as a member of a punk band but later developing his unique electronic music. His most mainstream techno album to date was Play, from 1999, which sold 10 million copies worldwide. The album was heavily influenced by gospel and folk music, which Moby sampled in his music.
