About Kirk Franklin
Kirk Franklin is a native of Fort Worth, Texas and he joined the church choir at Mt. Rose Baptist Church at the young age of 11. Despite the strong religious upbringing, Kirk Franklin rebelled in his teenage years. Following the change in his behavior, he was sent by his aunt to a professional youth conservatory associated with a local university.
