Before becoming a film composer in Hollywood, whose work includes such critically acclaimed movies as United 93 and blockbusters such as Robots, John Powell was a composer of commercials. Before moving to Los Angeles, John Powell founded a commercial music house that produced scores for over 100 commercials and independent films, not only in England but in France and elsewhere around Europe as well.
