About Fatboy Slim
In 1996, Norman Cook adopted a new alter-ego, answering to the name Fatboy Slim. As a DJ at the Big Beat Boutique in Brighton, Fatboy Slim met with The Chemical Brothers and impressed them with his music and style. The Chemicals in turn recommended Fatboy Slim not only DJ but also record his own material, which he did, leading to some of the most successful songs of the late 90s, Gangster Trippin' and Praise You, among others.
