Ironic and arrogant, Faith No More have been active on the San Francisco music scene, then internationally on the heavy metal, or funk metal music scene. Their albums, from their debut We Care A Lot to their last album recorded as a band Album Of The Year, have incorporated many influences, from jazz to progressive, hip hop to metal. The sound created by Faith No More has, in turn, been an influence on many other bands to follow.
