About Emmylou Harris
Country music singer Emmylou Harris learned to play folk songs during her college years at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, listening to Bob Dylan and Joan Baez. Her breakthrough was soon then after, when Emmylou Harris was recommended to Gram Parsons who in his first solo album after the Byrds' breakup, on which Harris performed as a vocalist.
