About Cocteau Twins
Active between 1982 and 1997, Cocteau Twins entered the music world following the footsteps of bands such as Joy Division, The Birthday Party, the Sex Pistols and Siouxsie & The Banshees. Even with a dominant guitar sound, the Cocteau Twins were noticed and praised largely for the vocals of Elizabeth Fraser, whose singing style was unique for the time, hardly decipherable and yet emotionally touching.
