The Butthole Surfers are not shy, that much can be said based on the band name alone. The name of the band actually came after they already had a song called Butthole Surfer. At the time, the Butthole Surfers have actually performed live under a different name at every show, including Abe Lincoln's Bush, Dick Clark Five and the Vodka Family Winstons.
