About Billie Holiday
Jazz and blues singer Eleanora Fagan Gough, aka Billie Holiday, was born in Baltimore in 1915. Much of Billie Holiday’s work has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. She died in 1959 due to prolonged drug abuse.
