About Ben Harper
Ben Harper was born in California, where he listened to blues, folk, soul, R&B, and reggae. When he was a child, he started playing guitar, and began to perform regularly as a preteen. Several years later he started to play acoustic slide guitar, which would eventually become his signature instrument.
