About Alanis Morissette
Alanis, the first album Alanis Morissette released, was a collection of pop oriented songs and ballads. While the album was fairly popular in Canada, selling some 100,000 copies, it was unheard of outside of Canada. The second album Morissette released was called Now Is the Time, an album that closely resembled her debut. Like it, it was successful in Canada, ebut it sold half of what the first album did.
