About Adam and The Ants
Adam and the Ants released their first album in 1979, Dirk Wears White Sox. Their dark, punk touching on glam sound went along with lyrics that would touch on historical figures like Hitler and art history all in one. To reach greater success, Adam Ant, the leader and vocalist of Adam and the Ants hired Malcolm McLaren as manager. Their next album, Kings of the Wild Frontier in 1980 has already reached the top of the UK charts.
