About 10000 Maniacs
10,000 Maniacs was formed by singer Natalie Merchant and by guitarist John Lambardo. The band toured and gigged for several years independently before signing with Electra. With Blind Man's Zoo peaking at number 12, the band was on it's was to success. In 1992 Natalie Merchant decided to leave the band for a solo career.
